2022 Indigo Shibori and Dye Discharge workshop dipped into fiber awesomeness!

Artist & Educator, Deb Berkebile joined us again this year for an on site Indigo Shibori and Dye Discharge weekend! We all pulled out the creative energy from one another, producing such inspiring fabrics with every dip and every reveal as we unfolded, unstitched or rinsed out the prepared pieces.

Starting off dining together on Friday night, we really got the process rolling Saturday morning and got the blues out on the line to dry in the PERFECT weather!!! Continuing into Sunday morning, more and more exciting processes were revealed. Learning some new stitching techniques and layering the stunning blue indigo dye over top of the black discharged fabric created some amazing results.

We hope to create fiber projects in the near future with these jewels of creativity! Keep posted on our adventures in fiber. We have an Invitational exhibit coming up SOON!!! Thank you all who participated and the tent crew who helped us pull the day together. NEXT year we hope to get into some different techniques.

Black and Blue for healing the creative heart!

Smiles from the fabric creators!
